Does the process benefit the smaller communities and are these smaller entities getting real value by being a part of the larger Municipality?
Does the process contribute to adding wealth to the community, or benefit Job Creation in any manner other than the Jobs of the Councilors themselves?
Does the process add value to the Services and Facilities that the community needs and is entitled to?
Does the process benefit the community in terms of a sense of Well-being?
Does the process benefit the community in terms of Safety or Security?
Does it add value to their asset base?
Has the closing of Municipal facilities such as the Traffic and Licensing and other Department's in Tulbagh for instance and the transfer of the staff and equipment to Ceres, had any benefit for the Tulbagh residents?
Is it right that a Tulbagh or an Op Die Berg resident should drive, take a taxi or get a lift for a round trip of about 60kms to do their business at the Municipality and in the process, do their shopping in Ceres to the detriment of local business, in those smaller towns who also pay equitable Rates and Service charges?
Is it practical that staff should be transported from Tulbagh to Ceres for instance to their work places and back every day at the expense of the Ratepayer?
Are the moneys collected by way of Rates, service charges etc. being spent on the entities in which the were collected?
